The 555 Collins Street Twin development consists of two towers. The height reaches more than 450m, which would make it the tallest structure in the southern hemnisphere.
The smaller tower houses a 5-star hotel while the taller building is for office use. The lower floors are for commercial tenants in the prime location of Melbourne’s central business district.
The corners are increasingly chamferd to the top creating a seemingly twisted building volume. This drastically reduces the windload on the facade and allows for lighter structure.
The development has been sold including the planning permit for the shown building and shall be completed by others.
