22 Upton Road in Windsor, Melbourne is a three-storey residential building consisting of a ground floor lobby, carpark and a variety of different size apartments, ranging from one- to generous three-bedroom units.
The architecture of the building reflects historical characteristics of the neighbourhood and also demonstrates a dynamic modern sensibility.
The dominant aspect of the design is the play of white concrete clad elemets and timber louvers that break up the bulk of the building into smaller portions that reflect the neighbourhood character of the surrounding residential areas. Planterboxes on terraces, balconies and in the entrace enhance the leafy charme of the street.
